3. Health Information Sources
Our AI-powered nutritional analysis is provided by OpenAI ChatGPT-4o. By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Health and nutritional information is generated by AI and is for educational purposes only
- OpenAI's models are not fine-tuned for medical advice and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment
- All health information should be verified with qualified healthcare professionals
- AI analysis may contain inaccuracies and should not replace professional medical consultation
- Your food images sent to OpenAI may be used for training and improving AI models per OpenAI's Usage Policies

4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Provide accurate information when prompted (height, weight, health goals)
- Not upload inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted content
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the AI analysis system
- Not use the app for any illegal activities
- Respect the background processing system and not attempt to interfere with it
- Use notification features responsibly
5. App Features and Limitations
- AI Analysis: Our AI provides estimates based on visual analysis and may not be 100% accurate
- Background Processing: Analysis takes 10-15 seconds and continues in the background
- Anonymous Usage: No account creation required - we use anonymous authentication
- No Medical Advice: Information provided is educational and not medical advice
- Individual Variation: Nutritional needs vary by individual
- Photo Quality: Analysis accuracy depends on photo quality and clarity
- Notification Reliability: Push notifications depend on device settings and network connectivity
6. Data and Privacy
- Anonymous Access: The app uses anonymous authentication with locally-generated UUIDs
- Background Processing: Your photos are processed in the background for 10-15 seconds
- Data Synchronization: Your preferences and meal history are synchronized across the app
- Notifications: We may send notifications about analysis completion and meal reminders (if enabled)

7. Intellectual Property
Taco app and branding are owned by Björn Schefzyk. The AI analysis is powered by OpenAI's technology. You retain ownership of photos you upload, but grant us license to use them for analysis and service improvement. Please note that images sent to OpenAI for analysis may be used by OpenAI for training and improving their AI models in accordance with OpenAI's Usage Policies.
8. Service Availability
- We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
- Background processing may occasionally fail due to network conditions
- Notification delivery depends on device settings and network connectivity
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time
- Statistics and trend analysis features are under development
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Taco is provided "as is" without warranties
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app (currently free)
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on app recommendations
- We are not liable for notification delivery failures or background processing issues
